To enhance and complement her extensive naturopathic medicine education, Dr. Trevor Holly Cates has received additional training in Homeopathy, Environmental Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy, and Visceral Manipulation. In addition to the entire homeopathic training at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, she has studied with internationally acclaimed homeopaths.
Dr. Trevor Holly Cates provides individualized naturopathic health care for each of her patients. Drawing from her knowledge of various natural medicine therapies, Dr. Cates specializes in women's and children's health. She addresses a variety of health concerns, acute and chronic, including: asthma, allergies, hayfever, autistic spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, chronic fatigue, headaches, menopausal problems, PMS, infertility, thyroid disease, weight gain or loss, chemical exposure/sensitivities, skin problems, gastrointestinal complaints, ear infections, and colds and flus.
Dr. Cates is a licensed naturopathic physician in Utah and was the first woman to receive a license as a Naturopathic Doctor in California. She has twice been appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to the Bureau of Naturopathic Medicine Advisory Council, of which she vice chairs. Dr. Cates also serves on the Bureau's Formulary Committee. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the National Center for Homeopathy, the Utah Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association.
